Moments with H (PART 4)

Last week was session 9 with Teacher Morgan! Notice that while he is knocking independently to gain access to desired items, he continues to require physical prompting to facilitate an isolated finger point. When kiddos begin requesting and demonstrating communicative intent, we think it is vital that the child is also able to point to the desired item. This is the first form of “communication” for many children and it helps solidify that his request is accurate and he is gaining exactly what he wants. Stay tuned for session 10 this week…..
